You are allowed to simulate anything, i suppose. But i never heard about paper-simulation… so i cannot suggest you anything about that.

i wanna simulate a paper on zigbee,shouid i use jennic?

i’m sorry but… we cannot do anything on that. That’s a problem about the Jennic toolchain, that was designed to run only on windows. We cannot use some Jennic utilities on linux like the one that try to run by itself “ba-elf-objdump.exe”. I discovered that are compiled Python scripts… but i cannot fix that. I simply disabled ZigBee stuff on linux… (we dont use that).

Hello! I tried to follow your instructions, but at the point “Unable to locate XXX section in library file YYY” I cannot go any further. What do I have to do? I tried to create a symbolic link from ba-elf-objdump.exe to ba-elf-objdump but it didn’t work. I don’t know exactly what to do do solve this problem. Can please explain a little more detailed?

Thanks for supplying the tools! Unforetunately, you used GLIBC_2.8 for building the compiler, which seems not be available for our Debian Could you supply the source code of the toolchain, so that we can build it ourselves, or build the toolchain with static linking, so that it includes already all libs?

I think not. I didn’t modified anything on them. Only some patch on Jennic custom scripts used to configure and compile them all. They gave me everything already configured for a different linux host (and without file permissions). So i had to install pre-requisites on my Ubuntu, change configure parameters and other little things (but that made me crazy for some hour).

Well, as I assumed you knew, you are required to release the source code. Otherwise you are violating the GNU GPL just as much as Jennic is.

Jennic gave me after many requests. You may ask you, too.
I dont want to release them by myself. But i can point you in the right direction about the changes i done (little tweaks). I could provide you a diff between their packages and mine i built.

Great news! Just in time for my modules to arrive. However, I wonder where you found the source because I can’t see it on Jennic’s site, nor in the thread where you posted this news. Can you please provide the source including any modifications you may have made to the build scripts?
